Tura, Oct 18: The Gasuapara Unit of GSU have sought the intervention of Education Minister Rakkam A. Sangma for setting up a HSSLC Examination Centre at Gasuapara Higher Secondary School.
A delegation of the union led by its general secretary submitted a memorandum to Education Minister Rakkam A. Sangma on Wednesday, and apprise him on several issues that need his immediate attention.
In their memorandum, GSU discussed several issues like the Gasuapara Secondary School’s management committee, school fees. It also highlighted that it has been many years but the school is yet to be converted into an adhoc or government school.
They also mentioned that the polytechnic institute, which was started in the year 2019, till date remains incomplete.
