Violations

Guwahati: A total of 1,01,164 instances of Pollution Under Certificates violations were recorded in the first four months of 2024, the Delhi Traffic Police said on Sunday. This is 30 per cent higher than the violations recorded last year during the same period.

Voting begins

Guwahati: Voting for the fourth plase of Lok Sabha elections 2024 is begin held in 96 Parliamentary Constituencies across nine states and one union territory on Monday, May 13. All 175 seats of the Andhra Pradesh legislative assembly and 28 seats of the Odisha legislative assembly will go to polls on the same day. The polling began at 7 am and will continue till 6pm across all Lok Sabha and assembly constituencies.

Shah posed five questions before Gandhi

Six minors detained

Guwahati: The Ajmera police on Sunday detained six minors students of a madrasa for allegedly killing imam of Mohammadi Masjid, Maulana Mohammad Mahir(32), on April 27 for sexually abusing a student. Police also recovered mobile of Mahir and the rope used to strangulate him.
