Shillong, Nov 14: Irene Dkhar, a former titleholder of Miss Meghalaya and Miss Northeast, got direct entry in the Grand Finale of Miss Grand India 2024.
Meanwhile, Ridamaya Passah and Tanvi Marak have also made it to the preliminary round and are yet to go through two more auditions to reach the grand finale.
In 2022, Irene Dkhar from Meghalaya claimed the title of Miss Northeast, impressing the judges with her impassioned stance on mental health in the final round.
The beauty queen was awarded a noteworthy cash prize of Rs 1.5 lakh for her outstanding performance. Notably, Dkhar shared her aspirations of pursuing a career as a psychologist.
She has done her schooling from ST. Mary’s Higher Secondary School and graduated from ST.Anthony’s college, Shillong.
