Shillong, Nov 14: Children’s Day is being celebrated on Tuesday in honour of the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, India’s first Prime Minister. This special occasion is dedicated to recognising the importance of childhood and the vision Nehru had for the well-being and education of children.

Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, affectionately known as Chacha Nehru had a vision which extended beyond politics to embrace the well-being and development of young minds.
