Jowai, Nov1: The Jaiñtia Youth Federation (JYF) has decided to organise a Peace Rally on the 5th November along with the students hailing from various parts of Jaiñtia Hills who haven’t been admitted to Class eleven XI till today.

This decision was taken after several appeal to the education Minister and the state government even after handing over
names of the students to the Joint Director Education Department, West Jaiñtia Hills District, Jowai since 11 September 2021.

Meanwhile, The Federation also condemned the Education Minister and the Education Department after they turned a deaf ears to the request.

Notably, till date there are about 150 students who are yet to be admitted to Class eleven (XI) at the Kiang Nangbah Higher Secondary School, and the Government Higher Secondary Schools at Jowai.
