Guwahati, April 11: In an address at a press meet in Guwahati, Senior Congress Leader Jairam Ramesh criticized Prime Minister Modi’s stance on China, spotlighting the critical issue of Arunachal Pradesh. Ramesh underscored that Arunachal Pradesh is and will always be an integral part of India, rejecting any compromise on its sovereignty.
Expressing concern, Ramesh pointed out that PM Modi’s recent remarks have seemingly emboldened China, potentially strengthening their position in negotiations. He urged PM Modi to reconsider his stance and emphasized the need for a strong, unified approach in dealing with China’s territorial ambitions.
In a direct challenge, Ramesh called on PM Modi to apologize for what he perceived as a misstep in handling the sensitive matter, urging a swift course correction to safeguard India’s interests.
