Jowai, Nov 9: The Winter Session of the Jaiñtia Hills Autonomous District Council (JHADC) was held on Wednesday with the Question Hour followed by the Obituary of the former MDCs.
The CEM of the Council, Thombor Shiwat tabled the Official Report of the Council.
Shiwat also informed about the reconstitution of the House Committee whereby Dr. Sankey Shangpung will be the Chairman, Het Pohthmi as the Vice Chairman, with other members being Awhai Andrew Shullai, Lakhon Biam, Saron Paswet and Aibotlang Shadap.
Further discussions were also held pertaining to the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India reports for the year 2011-12 and 2012-13.
The MDCs discussed the implementation of the recommendations made by the CAG.
During the Session, the CEM also brought the officers who were promoted and appointed recently.
