Jowai, May 29: In an accident on Wednesday, a woman from Jowai miraculously escaped the jaws of death after being dragged by the ravaging currents of the Myntdu River.

According to information received, the woman went out fishing and unfortunately slipped into the river, where she was carried away by the strong currents.

Fortunately, she was rescued by people in the area who heard her cries for help.
