Williamnagar, March 1: Expanding its presence in the growing beauty and wellness sector, M Paul’s, one of the most renowned hair and beauty studios in Tura, has launched another professional premium hair studio at the Municipal Shopping Complex, Akonggre, Tura on Saturday.
The new outlet was inaugurated by Additional Deputy Commissioner and CEO of Tura Municipality Board, Jude Rangku T. Sangma, who cut the ribbon in the presence of proprietor Paul Marak, along with friends, well-wishers and clients.
Speaking exclusively to Hub News, Paul Marak said that the hair and beauty industry is rapidly growing worldwide, and despite Tura being a small town, there is increasing demand for professional salons in different localities. With this vision, he decided to open another outlet to cater to customers across the town.
He informed that the new studio will provide a wide range of hair and beauty services, including spa treatments and scalp testing facilities. Paul stated that his primary objective behind opening multiple outlets is not only business expansion but also to create livelihood and placement opportunities for local youths. He has trained more than 300 individuals in this field, many of whom received free training with the support of the government. Apart from local placements, some trained candidates have secured jobs in cities such as Bangalore, Delhi, Dimapur, Mumbai and Goa.
Paul also expressed gratitude to the Meghalaya State Skill Development Society for entrusting him as a training provider, which enabled him to offer employment opportunities to many youths from Garo Hills.
Sanjay Dutta, Area Manager of ChevX, told Hub News that Paul has been using their products for the past five years and has received a positive response from clients. He added that the company also provides salon training and education to hairdressers to help them use the products effectively and deliver the best results.
Following the inauguration, several friends, well-wishers and clients visited the new studio to avail themselves of its professional services, marking a promising beginning for the newly launched outlet.
