New Delhi, Oct 21: In a landmark achievement, India’s accumulative COVID-19 vaccination coverage crossed 100 crore doses on Thursday. A total of 100 crore jabs have been administered so far to eligible beneficiaries, as per the Cowin portal at 9:47 am on October 21, 2021.
Saying that India has scripted history, PM Modi tweeted, “We are witnessing the triumph of Indian science, enterprise and collective spirit of 130 crore Indians. Congrats India on crossing 100 crore vaccinations. Gratitude to our doctors, nurses and all those who worked to achieve this feat.”

Meanwhile, praises are pouring in for India reaching the 100-crore-vaccination milestone from all quarters, from both domestic and global voices, congratulating the people and healthcare workers of the nation.
India’s Home Minister Amit Shah tweeted in Hindi saying, “I thank all the scientists, researchers and health workers who have contributed in this Mahayagya by overcoming many challenges and congratulate Modi ji who is determined for the safety and health of every person. Jai Hind!”

Joining his peers, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya tweeted on his micro-blogging handle congratulating the country on achieving the feat, and said it was the result of the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
