Shillong, 0ct 21: The winter session of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) was on October 20 adjourned till November 8 due to the upcoming bye-elections to Mawryngkneng and Mawphlang constituencies in Meghalaya’s East Khasi Hills district.
KHADC Chief Titosstarwell Chyne said the deputy chairman, Alvin Khyriem Sawkmie has adjourned the winter session and has also informed that the council will introduce the Khasi Hills Autonomous District (Village and Town Development Council) Bill, 2021 during the winter session to be held from November 8.
