SHILLONG, OCT 9: Governor CH Vijayashankar has approved the list of seven Executive Members (EMs) of the newly formed VPP-led Executive Committee (EC) in the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC)

They include Powell Sohkhlet, Seiborlang Warbah, Aibandaplin F Lyngdoh Nonglait, Deity H Majaw, Isynei Hinge, Pynkhrawboklin Kharjahrin and Denzil Raynard Chen.

The appointments were made on the advice of the KHADC Chief Winston Tony Lyngdoh, who took charge of office on September 30.

Confirming this on Wednesday, Sohkhlet informed that the list has been approved by the Governor today.

“The CEM is likely to distribute the portfolios to the EMs tomorrow,” he said.
