Shillong, Oct 23: The Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) of East Khasi Hills has arrested four drug traffickers, including three women, from the Umsohsun area under Sadar Police Station.
The four arrested have been identified as Suraj Masih (26), Altima Khatun (27), Gulasha Begum (30), and Jumila Khatun (28). Who are the residents of Punjabi Line and Oakland Road, Shillong.
During the operation, the ANTF seized 19.4 grams of heroin concealed in two soap boxes, along with four mobile phones and ₹81,600 in cash.
A case has been registered against the accused at Sadar Police Station under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
