Must read

Shillong, Nov 18: Following the disappointing cancellation of the opening day of the Cherry Blossom Festival 2023 due to adverse weather conditions, a ray of hope emerged as the sun broke through the clouds, bringing optimism to festival-goers and eager Ne-Yo fans anticipating the second day’s festivities.

The highly acclaimed R&B singer, Ne-Yo, is scheduled to headline the entertainment lineup later on Saturday at Madan Kurkalang-Umroi in Ri Bhoi District, promising a captivating performance for attendees.

Despite the festival’s initial setback on Friday due to incessant rain, organizers are determined to ensure a memorable experience for attendees. Day 1 ticket holders will have the opportunity for free access to either Day 2 or Day 3 as compensation. Season pass holders will receive refunds equivalent to Friday’s show on their RFID cards. Moreover, individuals holding Day 1 passes can opt for a full refund if they prefer not to attend any subsequent festival days.

To streamline the refund process, organizers will introduce a dedicated portal, facilitating hassle-free reimbursements for ticket holders affected by the cancellation.
