New Delhi, Nov 21: After Indian cricket team lost the World Cup trophy match on Sunday night, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid a visit to Team India in their dressing room at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
In an encouraging gesture, the Prime Minister spoke directly to the players, commending their stellar performance throughout the tournament. He expressed his pride in the team’s achievements and offered words of encouragement for their efforts on the field.
In the video shared by PMO, PM Modi can be seen talking and encouraging Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli and also hugging pacer Mohammed Shami, the highest wicket-taker in the tournament, and also spoke with Ravindra Jadeja in Gujarati.
Following this, the cricketers took to social media to reveal about their meeting with the PM Modi.

Shami also posted his picture with Modi with a message. Unfortunately yesterday was not our day. I would like to thank all Indians for supporting our team and me throughout the tournament.
