Shillong, Mar 7: Education Minister Lahkmen Rymbui on Monday informed that the physical progress of the construction of Polytechnic at (Mawbri) Nongkhrah Nongpoh in Ri Bhoi District is at 25%.

The administrative approval for this project is Rs 800.38 lakh and the amount partially sanctioned so far is Rs 270 lakh, Rymbui said in his reply in the Assembly.

He said that the initial target for completion of the project was 24 months from the date of issue of work order. However, the revised date of completion will depend on release of fund, he added.
