Shillong, Oct 6: The Powerlifting Association of Meghalaya (PAM) in collaboration with Power Plus Gym and Seng Samla Umsning Proper B conducted the Bench Press Competition at Umsning Hall on the October 4, 2022.

The Meghalaya Power Lifting is an organisation affiliated with Power Lifting India. The Chief Guest of the day was Rocky Kylla, Chairman of the Umsning Town Dorbar, and the Guest of Honour was Rocky Marwein, headman of Umsning Proper B, and Pradeep Sharma was the Chief Judge of the event.

The motive of conducting the said competition was to choose athletes for selection for the national competition conducted by the Powerlifting India to be held at Mumbai in the month of November 2022.
