Imphal, June 30: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday visited two relief camps at Manipur’s Moirang in Bishnupur district officials said.
Former Congress leader Rahul Gandhi reached Moirang by a chopper around 9:30 am from Imphal.
According to reports, he met thousands of people affected in the violence and listened to their problems.
Rahul was was accompanied by party general secretary KC Venugopal, PCC president Keisham Meghachandra Singh, former Manipur chief minister Okram Ibobi Singh, and former MP Ajay Kumar.

He will also meet civil society representatives and other intellectuals in Imphal during the day, said Congress Party sources.
Rahul Gandhi who landed in Imphal on Thursday had visited relief camps in Churachandpur.
His Imphal trip wasn’t easy, as his convoy of cars was stopped by local police at Bishnupur, as fearing attack.
Following which he had to return back to Imphal and take helicopter to Churachandpur.
Rahul Gandhi is on a two-day visit to violence hit Manipur, to meet and share the pain of the people in the state.
