Tura, Feb 18: Education Minister, Rakkam A. Sangma, inaugurated the newly constructed Ranggira English School today.
The school, built by Wadanang Baptist Mondoli, aims to provide quality education to children in the Ranggira area, near Tura.
The initiative comes as a much-needed relief for students who had to struggle to reach schools due to poor connectivity and seasonal hardships.
The newly established institution is expected to bridge the educational gap, ensuring that children receive better learning opportunities without having to travel long distances.
Speaking at the event, Minister Rakkam A. Sangma praised Wadanang Baptist Church for the initiative.
He lauded the church for “planting the fruit of education” for the children of Ranggira.
The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of local leaders, community members, and educators, all of whom expressed their gratitude for this development.
