Shillong, April 22: A scuffle broke out between two communities in Ïewduh, Themïewmawlong, Shillong on Saturday.

According to delayed reports, the incident occurred near Saw Aiom Restaurant. Four or five non-tribals allegedly created a scene after dining at the restaurant and refused to pay their bills.

The restaurant staff attempted to reason with the group, but the situation escalated when a group of Khasi locals present near the restaurant intervened, further escalating the scuffle.

Later, police personnel from Cantonment Beat rushed to the area, and their timely intervention prevented the further escalation of the scuffle.

Police sources have informed that no arrests have been made as the situation has been resolved.

The video of the scuffle, recorded by people present near the incident, has also gone viral.
