Shillong, Sep 4: In a shocking incident, a video of a robber being beaten by a mob on Sunday evening has gone viral on social media.

According to reports, the incident is said to have taken place on Sunday night when he entered the house of Moureen Kharnaior, a resident of MIDC, Umiam.

Moureen Kharnaior said that he tried to shoot with an air pistol, and while fleeing, he jumped the high wall, which resulted in breaking his leg.

He was soon shifted to CH Shillong and is currently undergoing medical treatment.

In this regard, the complainant has been asked to submit a written FIR against the accused person.
