Tura, Apr 22: People came out in large numbers on Monday morning at Wageasi in North Garo Hills to condemn the gruesome murder of three youth at Rongmil under Rongjeng PS in East Garo Hills.

The three youth from neighbouring Goalpara in Assam were killed by unknown miscreants on April 16, and their bodies were partially buried.

Police recovered their charred bodies on April 17.

Police are investigating the matter.

Social organisations from Goalpara and Garo Hills have condemned the incident and sought compensation for the victim’s family.
