TURA, July 28: Tura police are filing a second POCSO case against the arrested BJP MDC Bernard N Marak (Rimpu) after one of the five children rescued from his farmhouse last Friday has been medically found to be sexually assaulted.

“As per medical reports of one of the rescued children, it has been found that the child has been sexually assaulted. Accordingly, a fresh FIR is being registered under POCSO Act,” informed SP Vivekanand Singh Rathore.

The child was among five minors rescued from dingy rooms where they were kept in extreme poor conditions when police found them on Friday last during a massive raid on the farmhouse which led to arrest of 73 people and seizure of hundreds of illegal alcohol and 500 numbers of unused contraceptives or condoms.
