Shillong, May 18: Construction of the Shillong Business cum Tourism and Cultural Centre at Khyndailad is going in full swing.

“I am happy to see the smooth implementation of the project,” Deputy Chief Minister in-charge Urban Affairs Sniawbhalang Dhar told reporters after conducting an inspection to the site on Thursday.

He informed, “I will try to make sure that within two years, this building will be handed over (to the government).”

The Centre is being constructed at the Meghalaya Transport Corporation (MTC) land.

According to the deputy chief minister, the total project cost is at Rs 260 crore.
