Sikkim: Body of missing 29-year-old IRB jawan found in Geyzing

Aizwal, July 10: Body of a missing Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) Jawan was found in Geyzing on Monday. The deceased has been identified as 29-year-old Passang Tshering Bhutia.

According to reports, he had gone missing from his residence in Upper Kyongsa, Geyzing on Saturday (July 8).

The body was discovered in a feeder near St. Mary’s School, Geyzing.

Passang Tshering Bhutia was on a three-day leave and was expected to return home on the same day he went missing.

Sources said that missing IRB Jawan was last seen riding a red scooty with the registration number SK04-0708.

Meanwhile, Police have initiated an investigation into the matter which had led to Passang Tshering Bhutia’s death.

Also, the Geyzing Police Station has filed a general Missing diary entry.

Meanwhile, the investigation into the case is underway.
