Baghmara, July 14: The District Court in South Garo Hills has issued a public notice inviting claims or objections in a guardianship petition filed for two minor children under the Guardians and Wards Act, 1890.
According to the notice issued by the Court of the District Judge, Baghmara, Sunanda S. Marak, daughter of late Sitesh R. Marak and a resident of Asim Chiring in South Garo Hills, has applied for a guardianship certificate for Miss Amaya S. Marak and Master Chugarik S. Marak.
The petition has been filed under Section 10 of the Guardians and Wards Act, 1890, seeking legal recognition as the guardian of the two minors.

The matter has been listed for hearing on July 28, 2026, at 10 am before the District Judge’s Court in Baghmara.
The court has directed any person having a claim or objection to the petition to appear in person or through a lawyer on the scheduled date. It cautioned that failure to appear or contest the petition could result in the matter being heard ex parte and decided on its merits.
The public notice was issued under the hand and seal of the District Judge, South Garo Hills, on July 7, 2026.
