In a landmark move to address healthcare disparities in Assam’s tea estates, the National Health Mission (NHM), Assam, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to upgrade 354 tea garden hospitals into Ayushman Arogya Mandirs.
The Union Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways and Ayush, Sarbananda Sonowal laid the foundation stone for the second Ayurvedic College of Assam since independence at Dudhnoi in Assam's Goalpara on Monday.
