The Meghalaya Boxing Association (MBA), in collaboration with the West Garo Hills Boxing Association, conducted district-level selection trials in P.A Sangma Stadium, Dakopgre Tura on Tuesday for the upcoming 39th National Games, which Meghalaya will host in 2027.
The young boxers from Garo Hills delivered an impressive performance by clinching six medals at the State Sub-Junior and Junior Boys and Girls Boxing Championship 2024, held from August 7 to 9 at Mawlai Mawroh in Shillong.
