The Meghalaya cabinet has approved a long-pending provident fund scheme for employees of non-government schools and colleges that receive deficit grants from the state.
Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Tuesday announced that the state government has simplified the procedure for regularization of excess area on government lease lands.
