Chief Minister, Conrad K Sangma, on Thursday attended the CM Connect Programme, a block level community interactive programme which was held at the Kurkalang Football Ground, Lumdaitkhla, Bhoirymbong.
In a historic event for Meghalaya and a big step towards bolstering grassroots democracy and increase citizen engagement in governance, Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma launched the first-ever Block Level Community Interaction Program under ‘CM-Connect’ at Adokgre Block in North Garo Hills on Thursday.
Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma on Thursday launched the ambitious programme “CM-CONNECT” that would enable citizens to connect with the government. Through this platform, the citizens will have access to a dedicated Helpline No. 1971 to express their concerns and grievances, which will be addressed.
