One more supporter of 'Waris Punjab De', who was lodged in Dibrugarh Central Jail has been sent to Assam Medical College and Hospital for checkup and treatment after his health deteriorated due to hunger strike.
The staff of Dibrugarh Central Jail recovered a smartphone with SIM, a keypad phone, a TV remote with keyboard, a spy cam pen, pen drives, Bluetooth headphones, speakers, and a smartwatch during a search operation.
Kirandeep Kaur, wife of 'Waris Punjab De' chief Amrit Pal Singh, Daljit Singh Kalsi 's wife Neeru Kalsi and son Simarjeet Sunny Singh Kalsi on Thursday met them in Dibrugarh Central Jail.
Kirandeep Kaur claimed that Amritpal Singh and his associates were on hunger strike against the "deplorable facilities in the jail" and she got to know about their protest during her weekly visit to meet Amritpal.
