A group of 22 workers from Assam’s Tinsukia district travelled to Arunachal Pradesh for construction work, but the journey ended in tragedy after their vehicle fell into a deep gorge on the Hayuliang–Chaglagam Road on December 8. Twenty-one labourers are feared dead, while one person survived.
