: In a move that links sustainability with livelihoods, the EIACP Programme Centre–Hub hosted by the State Council of Science Technology and Environment (SCSTE), Meghalaya, in collaboration with the North East Cane and Bamboo Development Council (NECBDC), has launched a full-time certificate course—Micro Entrepreneur (NTFP–Plant Origin): Bamboo Craft—under the Green Skill Development Programme (GSDP) for 2025–26. The programme is fully sponsored by the Ministry of Environment Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC).
