The Guwahati police on Monday registered an FIR against five YouTubers and social influencers, accusing them of promoting obscene and sexually explicit content during their appearance on the controversial show India's Got Latent.
The massive demonstration was held by Assam Youth Congress members in Dispur to protest against the death of a Congress worker during the protest march organised as part of the 'Raj Bhawan Chalo' campaign on December 18.
The Guwahati Police displayed a haul of recovered electronic devices, comprising 650 mobile phones and 16 laptops, on Friday. The display is on at the office of the Commissioner of Police in Guwahati's Panbazar.
A Police official informed that the gang's modus operandi involved targeting houses with lights off and doors locked from the outside, indicating the owners' absence.
