Ah, Christmas—a time filled with cheer, goodwill, and the promise of love and joy. Yet, amidst the festive spirit, one cannot ignore the frustration that brews when confronted with a heavy traffic jam at Khyndailad (GS Road), threatening to dim the radiance of this beautiful and blessed season.
As dreamy and befitting the evening transformed into at Khyndailad, Police Bazar, the commercial hub and heart of Shillong, the launch of the season was equally exciting as it also marks the beginning of a long winter filled with exciting line up of festivals across the state.
Building on the resounding success of its inaugural season in 2022, the Meghalaya Grassroots Music Project (MGMP) was conceived by the Government of Meghalaya with the vision of nurturing and promoting local musicians, songwriters, composers, event firms, and technical vendors.
During the inspection, FKJGP members witnessed that many establishments had encroached upon the drainage system and even extended onto the PWD roads leading from Keating Road towards Khyndailad.
