Security forces recovered arms, ammunition, and a war-like store, including a 9 mm pistol, in a search operation in Manipur's Thoubal district on August 29.

On August 5, there was an attempt to snatch weapons from a police team at Toupokpi police outpost in Lilong Chajing in Imphal West district of Manipur.
