Students from Garo Hills are raising the bar on the importance of debates and discussions, taking on challenging global issues, as was evident during this year's second edition of the Garo Hills Model United Nations Conference that took place from 20th to 22nd June, at Loyola College, Williamnagar, under the theme Advocacy, Posterity and Reconciliation.
In a collaborative effort, Meghalaya Model United Nations (MUN) and BDW International School organized a highly successful Mock MUN Conference on August 5th, 2023. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from four renowned institutions of Shillong which are Pine Mount School, Loretto Convent School, Meghalaya Police Public School and the hosting school making it a remarkable platform for budding diplomats and debaters.
The Garo Hills MUN edition, an integral part of the Meghalaya Model United Nations program, aims to foster an environment for the youth to engage in discussions and debates on pertinent global issues.
