Shillong, August 07: In a collaborative effort, Meghalaya Model United Nations (MUN) and BDW International School organized a highly successful Mock MUN Conference on August 5th, 2023. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from four renowned institutions of Shillong which are Pine Mount School, Loretto Convent School, Meghalaya Police Public School and the hosting school making it a remarkable platform for budding diplomats and debaters.

The mock conference saw the simulation of four committees, providing participants with a real-world experience of diplomatic negotiations and global issues. The engaging and thought-provoking discussions allowed students to showcase their debating skills while fostering a deeper understanding of international relations.

The event proved to be a significant learning opportunity for the participants, providing them with valuable insights into the workings of the United Nations and its various committees. It also offered a chance to build lasting connections and network with like-minded individuals from different institutions.
