Textile designer Ilamonbanrisa Thangkhiew from Meghalaya has been featured in the “8 Women in Design to Watch” article, published in a special International Women’s Day 2026 issue by New Designers, which recognises emerging designers whose work is pushing the boundaries of the global design industry.
