Two construction labourers were abducted by three armed cadres of the NSCN (K-YA) from a makeshift camp near the Tisa River in the Arunachal Pradesh Longding district on Wednesday.
According to sources, the NSCN-KYA commander was involved in various criminal and extortion related activities in Ledo, Bargolai, Lekhapani, Bomgarha, Tipong Lalpahar, Paharpur etc.
In a major operation carried out by Indian Army's Eastern Command Intelligence Battalion (ECIB) and Special Operation Team of Mon Police, a listed and hardcore cadre of NSCN (K-YA), self styled Lt. Jyachuk Wangsu alias Abo, was arrested from a hideout in Nagaland's Mon district on Monday.
