Social Welfare Minister Paul Lyngdoh on Tuesday informed that the Commissioner & Secretary of the department is heading the search committee for selection of eligible persons for appointment as new chairperson of the Meghalaya State Commission for Women (MSCW).
“I came to know about my removal from the press only and after two press statements I got a show cause notice from the government. After that clarification from the Board, he (Paul) is still adamant to give that press statement which is incorrect,” Toi told reporters.
