After a long wait, the residents of Rerapara and adjoining areas can breathe a sigh of relief as Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma inaugurated the 33/11KV, 2X2.5 MVA Rerapara (Damalgre) Sub-Station under Rerapara C&RD Block in South West Garo Hills on Thursday, which will drastically reduce power cuts and low voltage in the area.
