An 18-member delegation of the North East Students Organisation (NESO), an apex body of eight students’ associations of seven northeastern states, arrived in Imphal on Tuesday to promote peace and ethnic harmony in the strife torn Manipur.
“Well we don’t know what will be the hidden agenda but there may be some designs by the outside forces inimical to the interest of the indigenous peoples of the different states of the NE region,” he added.
