The Achik Conscious Holistically Integrated Krima (ACHIK) has urged the Minister in-charge Health to appoint an Anaesthetist at the Tura Civil Hospital.
The lab, which is the only facility of its kind in Garo Hills, conducted its first surgery on May 22, 2024, when a 76-year-old woman from Selsella, West Garo Hills received a heart pacemaker, completely free of charge.
