Meghalaya marks World AIDS Day, focusing on Health Rights and Awareness

World AIDS Day, which falls on December 1 every year, was first observed in 1988 to raise awareness about HIV and AIDS while paying tribute to the victims. The day was also celebrated in Tura and Nongpoh on Monday under the theme, “Take the rights path: My health, my rights”.
