The theme for the Mega Camp is “Bridging the Gap”.

The A'chik Conscious Holistically Integrated Krima (ACHIK) commenced an indefinite hunger strike in front of the mini-Secretariat in Tura on Friday. The strike comes in response to Chief Minister Conrad Sangma's statement on the roster system.
According to the organisation, the hunger strike will be led by one of the ACHIK senior members and former Meghalaya civil service and police officer Laben Ch. Marak, announced ACHIK.
