56.71 per cent voter turnout was recorded till 3.30 pm during the second phase of the panchayat election in the state conducted by the Assam State Election Commission (ASEC) on Wednesday.
Senior citizens were facilitated with wheelchairs in the polling booths, election officers along with Agandwadi workers assisted the voters to cast their vote
