Ampareen Lyngdoh while talking to reporters about the ruckus at the NEIGRIHMS hospital in Shillong after a youth died, said that she had been informed that there were doctors and other medical officers attending the patient.

She said, “Unofficially, I have been informed that on the day of the occurrence of this very unfortunate incident that occurred in NEIGRIMS, there were junior doctors already on duty that evening; there were CMOs and medical officers attending the patient. ”

“I don’t know  exactly what happened; in order to understand the situation completely, I have requested that the hospital director share the details on what led to the conflict in the hospital and also a loss of life,” she added.

She also said what caused the conflict in the hospital and how the patient died.

I will wait for the official details and am very disturbed by the death of the young boy.

Ampareen’s statement comes a day after a young boy died at the hospital while receiving treatment.

According to the allegations by the victim’s family, there were no doctors to treat the patient, and had to wait for almost five hours to get treatment.
