Guwahati, Jan 14: A TMC worker allegedly slapped a local man in front of West Bengal Food and supplies Minister Rathin Ghosh at Nandadulal temple area of Barsat in West Bengal North 24 Paragana district on Saturday.

Rathin Ghosh is also a TMC MLA, who went to Nandadulal area to launch a government programme. The local had approached Ghosh regarding a complaint, when suddenly a TMC worker slapped him without any reason.

Later, some TMC workers manhandled with the person, which went viral on social media.

“When the meeting was going on, a person who used to be a local leader of the area went with a complaint of a road. Suddenly, a TMC worker manhandled him and slapped him without any reason in front of the minister Rathin Ghosh,” said an eyewitness.

Talking to the media persons, the victim said, “I went to Rathin Ghosh regarding a complaint but without listening anything a TMC worker slapped me. If things are going like this then where we will go. I don’t know why I was slapped, what was my mistake.”
