Traffic regulations in place for smooth Lok Sabha Election in Williamnagar

Tura, April 14: In preparation for the Lok Sabha elections on April 19, traffic regulations has been enforced in Williamnagar. The measures come as influx of vehicles for election duties is anticipated, towards the DC office for the submission of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) post-polling.

No Entry is imposed from Soil Junction towards DC Office. Vehicles will be diverted either towards Sacred Heart School Junction or towards Indoor Stadium Junction. No Entry from DC Office Junction towards Soil Junction. Vehicles will be diverted either towards District Court Junction or towards Fishery Colony Junction. No Entry from Fishery Colony Junction towards DC Office. Vehicles will be diverted either towards Sacred Heart School Junction, Williamnagar Main Market Road, or Warimagre Road.

Heavy Motor vehicles are restricted to ply around the DC Office area on 19th April. General public are also urged to avoid traveling towards the DC Office area on April 19. No parking will be enforced around the DC Office area. Vehicles used for emergency services will only be facilitated.
